Time for coffee?

November 15, 2020 | Custom Design

The design process for this amazing men’s wedding ring took place without my client ever having to step foot in my salon. As a busy business owner herself, she found it easier to meet at a suburban Starbucks close to her work and home. She came prepared for our first meeting with photos and some ideas of what components she would like in the ring; white metal, dark blue or black stone, incorporated in a distinctly unique design.

Coffee and Carats

At our next meeting, I brought three stones for her to view; a black diamond, black jade, and this incredible Sri Lankan sapphire that is saturated with a deep blue color. She made the absolute perfect stone choice with this exceptional sapphire.

A real gem!

Double Shot of Wow!

Via email, I presented her with three different design choices created with my new CAD program. I must say she has an excellent eye for design! A true collaboration.

CAD renderings start the design process and gives us direction towards the final design.

The completed ring, cast in platinum, was given a soft matte finish that contrasts effectively with the stone.
My client (the designer) received the finished ring, packaged, and ready for presentation. She was thrilled and excited to give this impactful, meaningful gift that reflects the love for her husband.

So, what do you say? Want to meet for coffee?
