“The Matrix”…no, I’m not talking about Keanu Reeves. The lines, veins, and spots that we frequently see in turquoise are known as the “Matrix” of the stone. The less matrix, the rarer the stone.
The turquoise in this ring, mined in Persia, is a beautiful sky blue color, and the absence of matrix within the stone is astonishing. I love the color of Persian turquoise. The elongated pear shape is the main attraction and surround it in diamonds…well, it will take your breath away.
