I have long been a huge fan of spessartite garnet, which I consider one of the best types of garnet. Most people think of red when describing garnet, which is much more common, but spessartite has that ‘charged’ orange color to it. Sensational. Love it. The pave’ set diamonds surrounding in this unique arrangement doesn’t hurt either. Screaming orange…calm price. Beautiful pendant.

Both “spessartite” and “spessartine” are used in gemology to describe this species of garnet, either term is acceptable.
Some believe that spessartite garnets have metaphysical properties that are known to assist manifestation and aid creativity. Also, they are supposed to bring mental clarity and strengthen logical reasoning.
